Mark Taylor is a senior director of IPA, located in the Philadelphia, PA office covering the Mid-Atlantic market. A 25-year veteran of the investment sales market, Mr. Taylor focuses on multi-tenant shopping centers and net-leased properties.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in November 2001, Mr. Taylor has earned the firm’s National Achievement Award ten times. During his time at Marcus & Millichap, he has successfully brokered the sale of $2.5 billion in investment properties across 37 states. In his 30 year brokerage career, he has brokered the sale of over $3.0 billion in investment sales, including sale/leaseback portfolios with CVS Corporation, over 200 net lease properties and over 40 shopping centers. In 2004, Mr. Taylor started a partnership with Dean Zang to form the Taylor-Zang-Dougherty Group, an industry-leading investment sales team.

Prior to Marcus & Millichap, he was a principal at American Investment Property Exchange, a single-tenant net-lease advisory firm, and prior to that, Mr. Taylor was a director of brokerage services for NAI Global.

Mr. Taylor obtained his Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. Lawrence University, his Master of Arts in government from Villanova University, and his Juris Doctorate from Temple Law School.

Dean Zang is a senior director of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), located in the Washington, D.C. office covering the Mid-Atlantic market. Mr. Zang focuses on multi-tenant shopping centers and single-tenant net-leased transactions.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in July 2004, Mr. Zang has earned the firm’s National Achievement Award in 2006, 2007 and 2009-2016; the prestigious Chairman’s Club honor in 2013-2016 and the Chairman’s Circle of Excellence Award in 2015-2016. In 2004, Mr. Zang started a partnership with Mark Taylor to form the TZD Retail Group, an industry-leading investment sales team.

Mr. Zang was recognized as Philadelphia Business Journal's Rising Star Broker in 2008. Mr. Zang has amassed a large client base of notable institutional and private equity investors through his advisory approach to investment real estate brokerage.

Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Zang was a broker at the Hogan’s Agency and assisted a local land developer at Richardson Property Corp.

Mr. Zang obtained his Bachelor of Arts in business management from Washington College.

Derrick Dougherty

Derrick Dougherty is a member of the IPA Mid-Atlantic – Retail team, located in Philadelphia. Mr. Dougherty specializes in the acquisition and disposition of retail shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic region and net-leased investments throughout the country.  Since joining the TZD Retail Group in 2008, he was recognized as the Rookie of the Year in 2009 and a top 3 Agent in the Philadelphia Office since 2014. Mr. Dougherty has successfully brokered the sale of more than $500 million in retail properties across the country.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates in their Minor League system broadcasting games on the radio in markets through the Northeastern part of the country.

Mr. Dougherty obtained his degree from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.

David Crotts

David Crotts is a member of the IPA Mid-Atlantic – Retail team, located in Washington, D.C.  Mr. Crotts specializes in the acquisition and disposition of retail shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic. He joined the National Retail Group and Institutional Property Advisors as a senior associate in 2016. David has an outstanding track record obtaining top value for his clients.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Crotts was a director on a retail investment sales team at CBRE in Washington, D.C. where he helped close more than 80 deals totaling in excess of $4 billion in sales. Mr. Crotts closed deals ranging from $3 to over $400 million, achieving great execution and results for his clients. Previously, Mr. Crotts worked at the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for the District of Columbia helping the local government subsidize development projects around the city.

Mr. Crotts received his Bachelor of Arts and MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Christopher Burnham

Christopher Burnham is a member of the IPA Mid-Atlantic – Retail team, located in Washington, D.C.  Mr. Burnham, joined the TZD Retail Group in 2014 and focuses on the sale of shopping centers and net leased investment properties throughout Maryland. Mr. Burnham was the recipient of the Washington D.C. office’s Senior’s Choice Award in 2014 and the Pace Setter Award in 2015.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap’s Sales Intern Program (SIP) in 2011, Mr. Burnham worked as a market research analyst for Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners based in Denver, Colorado, after serving as a marketing and advertising intern for Action Marketing Group and Clif Bar.

Mr. Burnham received his Bachelor of Arts in international business, with a minor in economics, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Joshua Ein

Josh Ein is a member of IPA Mid-Atlantic – Retail team, located in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ein is a Commercial Real Estate Investment Sales Broker with Marcus & Millichap, specializes in the sale and acquisition of retail properties in Maryland and Washington DC. His exclusive representation offers buyers and sellers of retail investments a client first and consultative approach to brokerage. He holds real estate licenses in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Due to his background as a Sales Analyst in the metro area, Mr. Ein is an expert in reducing operating expenses for real estate owners and managers through energy reduction and efficiency measures. In that position, Mr. Ein, identified, developed and integrated solutions aimed at decreasing operating expenses and increasing net operating income to create future value for owners across the Mid-Atlantic, giving him a comprehensive understanding of business in our Nation’s Capital and beyond.

Mr. Ein is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute – Young Leaders (ULI), District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) and AIPAC Real Estate Division.

He graduated with an economics degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Brent Collier

Brent D. Collier is a member of the IPA Mid-Atlantic-Retail team, located in Washington D.C. and specializes in the sale and acquisition of retail properties in Maryland and Washington, D.C.  Mr. Collier began his career on Wall Street with Goldman Sachs then moved to Friedman Billings Ramsey where he served as an institutional equity sales broker for 10 years. This experience has provided him with extensive knowledge of advising and closing multi-million dollar transactions. In addition, his business experience includes small business entrepreneurial endeavors and time as a wealth management advisor.

Brent has lived in the Washington, D.C. area for close to 20 years, giving him a strong understanding of the local market and the broader commercial real estate industry.

Brent holds a BBA in Marketing from Howard University and a current real estate license in Maryland.
