Over his 15-year capital markets career, Sunny Sajnani has closed billions of transactions throughout the entire capital stack including senior mortgages, mezzanine loans, participating debt, preferred equity and JV equity partnerships. He has expertise in all areas of real estate including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, self-storage, and development land. Sunny joined Marcus & Millichap as part of the Metropolitan Capital Advisors (“MCA”) acquisition in 2020. While serving as principal and director at MCA, he closed several billion dollars’ worth of financing transactions and facilitated many large property sales. Sunny began his real estate career at Goldman Sachs’ commercial real estate investment and management arm specializing in structured finance. Sunny holds a BBA with a concentration in real estate finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including ICSC, NTCAR, and UT Austin REFIC. Sunny was recently granted the “Minority Business Leader Award” by the Dallas Business Journal.
