Michael Lawrence is a senior managing director of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap (M&M). Having joined Marcus & Millichap’s Newport Beach office in November 1986 as an agent focusing on office and industrial investments, Mr. Lawrence possesses more than 29 years of commercial real estate experience. Throughout Mr. Lawrence’s career he has sold over 365 investment transactions, making him the most successful office & industrial broker in M&M’s forty-four year history. In addition, Mr. Lawrence is recognized as one of the top office and industrial investment real estate brokers in Orange County’s history. Mr. Lawrence has worked as an investment advisor to numerous institutional, corporate and private clients, as well as private equity groups.

Mr. Lawrence is currently ranked as one of the top producers nationally within the National Office Industrial Properties Group/M&M. In addition, Mr. Lawrence ranked among the Top 30 agents of M&M nationwide on four occasions. In January 2008, Mr. Lawrence earned the prestigious designation of Senior Vice President Investments. He is a four-time Chairman’s Club award recipient, has earned an impressive 21 Sales Recognition Awards, and is among the select group of agents in the firm’s Eight-Figure Club.

Mr. Lawrence is currently an active member of the Orange County Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Mr. Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) where he received his bachelor’s degree in real estate and finance.
