Lee Norman is a Senior Managing Director at IPA Capital Markets. Over his 30-year career, he has negotiated and closed billions of dollars of complex commercial real estate transactions and capital structures, including highly structured senior, mezzanine, and equity financing transactions across all property types. His success is due to his ability to overcome obstacles with his creativity and exceptional negotiating and relationship management skills.
Prior to joining IPA, Lee served as Principal, Treasurer and Senior Vice President of Capital Markets with George Smith Partners, Inc. He also held positions at Ravinia Capital Group, Ziff Real Estate Group, HFF LP and George Smith Grubb & Ellis Company.
Lee holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He was recognized as one of Real Estate Southern California Magazine’s “40 under 40” in 2005. Lee’s philanthropic interest lies in volunteering to help those suffering from various addictions, and he is also an avid musician and composer.
